ED & LINDY'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURES....... In 2000, we began a website

chronicling our travels.  After using that site for 17 years, technology changed; it can no longer be updated.  Welcome to our NEW SITE which follows our journeys from the Fall of 2016 to present.  Our thanks go to Andy Paluch/WebGuyz!

This is a Baobob Tree which is also called the Tree of Life.  These trees can live as long as 3,000 years!  When Baobobs drop their leaves (like this one), its limbs look like roots; that is, like it was planted upside down!  Many animals are dependent on the Baobob tree since it produces flowers and fruits.  Sometimes Elephants will strip the bark from the tree but typically it survives.  Amazing what nature produced!
