ED & LINDY'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURES....... In 2000, we began a website

chronicling our travels.  After using that site for 17 years, technology changed; it can no longer be updated.  Welcome to our NEW SITE which follows our journeys from the Fall of 2016 to present.  Our thanks go to Andy Paluch/WebGuyz!

In this dead tree, a group of Marabou Storks has gathered.  These birds are often called "The Undertakers" due to their odd appearance (they have a seemingly bald head and feather coloring that gives them the appearance of wearing a suit jacket).  These birds will eat anything - dead or alive.  The large red pouch under the chin - ~18" in length - inflates to attract mates.  Interestingly, Marabou Storks do mate for life.
