ED & LINDY'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURES....... In 2000, we began a website

chronicling our travels.  After using that site for 17 years, technology changed; it can no longer be updated.  Welcome to our NEW SITE which follows our journeys from the Fall of 2016 to present.  Our thanks go to Andy Paluch/WebGuyz!

The remains of Clonycavan Bog Man dates to between 392-201 B.C.  The remains were found in a peat bog.  The lower portion of the body was destroyed but the upper portion, including internal organs, were intact.  The individual would have been about 5'7" tall.  He had a very distinctive hairstyle - the hair on the top of his head grew long and was worn in a pony tail while the sides were cut very short.  If you look at the remains, you can clearly see his face and hair.  Pretty amazing find!
