ED & LINDY'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURES....... In 2000, we began a website

chronicling our travels.  After using that site for 17 years, technology changed; it can no longer be updated.  Welcome to our NEW SITE which follows our journeys from the Fall of 2016 to present.  Our thanks go to Andy Paluch/WebGuyz!

There's quite a great history behind St. Pauls Anglican Cathedral.  From 1836 to 1848, the site on which the Cathedral stands was a corn market serving the growing city of Melbourne.  In 1848, it was deeded to the Anglican Church which built St. Paul's Parish Church which was used until 1885.  It was then demolished to make way for the present Cathedral.  The current Cathedral was consecrated on January 22, 1891.  The three spires were added with construction of them beginning in 1926.  Today it stands proudly as both an Anglican church and an historic site.
