ED & LINDY'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURES....... In 2000, we began a website

chronicling our travels.  After using that site for 17 years, technology changed; it can no longer be updated.  Welcome to our NEW SITE which follows our journeys from the Fall of 2016 to present.  Our thanks go to Andy Paluch/WebGuyz!

The Presidential Palace, located near Sisaket Temple on the banks of The Mekong River, opened in 1986 as a venue for government functions and ceremonies. The majestic building is closed to the public.  The Presidential Palace is not the official home of the Lao president (the president's residence is located in the suburb of Ban Phonthan).
